• 8 jalapeños, deseeded
• 8 thinly sliced chicken breasts
• 8 slices bacon
• 8 ounces cream cheese
• 8oz plus 2T BBQ Buddha BBQ sauce (or your favorite BBQ sauce)
• 1/2 C Sharp cheddar cheese grated
• BBQ Buddha Belly Rub seasoning or (your favorite BBQ rub)
• Salt and pepper, to taste
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
Sear Jalapenos in your Gunter Wilhelm grill pan. Let cool. Cut open jalapeños and carefully de-seed.
In a medium bowl mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, BBQ seasoning rub, and salt and pepper. Fill jalapeños with cream cheese mixture. Wrap chicken around the jalapeños. Season with BBQ seasoning.
Wrap bacon around the chicken. Close with a toothpick. Place on a lined baking pan. Continue until all jalapeño popper chicken wraps are made.
Sear on all sides in your Gunter Wilhelm grill pan 4-5 minutes.
Bake for 40 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and chicken is cooked through. Serve while hot and enjoy!
Heat 8oz BBQ Buddha BBQ sauce in pot on stove till just warm, do not boil. Brush sauce onto chicken. Serve while hot and enjoy!
